I was a little hesitant to buy this one with a canning date over 3 months old, but it has held up great! Cheers.

Having a Stone Enjoy By 4/20/24. I miss the bombers of these. I think those were my introduction to dank beers. These newer versions aren’t quite the same, but tasty nonetheless. I miss those beers. Cheers.

They were really tasty. Simple too -

2 sweet potatoes ( I only used one since I only have to feed myself) sliced into 1/4" fries - you can slice them however you'd like, but just make sure they're uniform slices so they cook in the same amount of time.

Soak the cut fries in a bowl of cold water for at least 1/2 hour - this is to remove some of the starch, I soaked them for a couple of hours. After soaking, dry the fries with a paper towel and put them back in the bowl. Pour some olive oil over them and then mix them up to make sure they're all well coated with the oil.

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, or sprayed with PAM olive oil. Bake them for 15 minutes and then flip them over and bake them for another 10 minutes. Parchment paper makes for easy cleanup and keeps them from sticking.

Season with sea salt of what ever you'd like. I seasoned mine with this:

    Cheers!!

Beautiful golden color with good white cap.

Aroma of sweet grain and light floral hops.

Taste is sweet but it's a refrained sweetness. It's actually quite rich without being cloying. A dusting of hops help keep things in balance. At 5% it's not really a "light" beer, nor does it taste like one being actually full of flavor. I guess the Brewer is emphsising a sense of lightness about the beer generally as opposed to an IPA, Stout or Porter.

Texture is a solid medium with balancing carbonation.

Overall this is one of those surprise finds that make beer hunting worthwhile.

2/22/24, 9.1% abv, 85 Ibu, not overly hazy, hides alcohol well under a creamy, or oaty, and orange type flavor. Lots of strep throat around here this week. I'm medicating the way I usually do...
