That's some lager heaven right there. I would spend most of my time there with a list like that.

Yes. Country. I'm not a huge country fan myself, but the Mrs. is.

Jack, I'm always willing to give something a try. Can't promise I'll enjoy it, but I'd give it a go.

Nahhh... a lot of them I was unwilling to even try, just based on appearances and aroma.

I still wonder who the individual was who first thought eating a brussel sprout was a good idea.

I ate brussel sprouts as a kid, We even grew them in the backyard garden.

My 'job' when I was a kid was to turn over the garden's soil with a shovel. My father was too 'frugal' to buy a tiller. Why would he when he had free labor. :slight_frown:

    Cheers!

P.S. I do not maintain a garden now but my wife does. I try to be 'away' when tilling time occurs! :stuck_out_tongue:

Real nice and has a light "old world pre-prohib" vibe and is crisp. I have a review on paper but may very well adjust my overall ratings since I want to enjoy it from a pokal glass instead of the Becker I always fall to. 3 cans remain...:beers:

Take a look at the glass. This is a proper universal glass for lagers that are light to medium in color. Pilsner thru reds including Maibocks. But not the best for dark Doppel bocks or baltic porters. I found it interesting looking thru this thread checking the glassware used. Overall you guys are doing pretty good on the glassware.

This is a very nice glass. And a proper glass for the beer also.

Lookin' frwd to trying the Ska Lager from the Pokal. I do have another tall Lager glass that opens slightly at the top. As far as I'm concerned, Hauenstein will drink well from things cylindrical and more straight. Perhaps even a Kolsch tube! You know I'll try it....:beers:

Is it the backlighting, or is the Ska lager extremely pale?

Pale and or straw yes. And look closely at the wave of yeast beginning to cascade through top to bottom. I swirled the last bit of the can pour to get any settling...and there was some to my surprise.

I watched the Pokal Cup on Saturday. Good game. No Pokal glassware in my cupboard though.
