Hop Butcher Presto Change-O (7.5% canned 2/7/24): A NEIPA from Chicago with Mosaic and Simcoe for flavors of mixed berries, juicy pineapple, and sweet pine.

Working through more of the stash on this great IPA from Hop Butcher with Mosaic and Simcoe and it shows it.

I had Batch #1 of this 20th anniversary nod to one of the most iconic beers in our beer nerd world and absolutely LOVED it. This is Batch #3, and it is uber fresh (canned 5/23/24) and maybe a bit better than Batch #1 - very dank and resiny, with all the Simcoe hop goodness the OG is noted for, amped up to 11. I wish I had a keg of this world class beer.

They look tasty and all are flats also. I prefer flat over drummies myself.

Thanks Alan!! I only roast my asparagus now, my favorite way of having it! Preheat the oven to 425 F.

Spray a baking sheet with olive oil and then layout the spears. Drizzle with a bit of extra virgin olive oil and shake to coat. Then salt and pepper to taste, and in the oven for 10 minutes.

Take them out and shake the pan, and then back in the oven for 6 more minutes.

Remove from the oven and squeeze the juice of one lemon over the asparagus.

Note: if the asparagus is really thin, you might want to reduce the cooking time so it doesn't burn.

    Cheers!!!

Likewise - I always try to get a package with the most flats, but there's always some drummies hiding in there. Cheers!!

Put this Filipino chicken marinade together. Excited about this one: banana ketchup, soy, pepper, turbinado sugar, lemon juice, fish sauce, garlic. Will be grilling this tomorrow.

Been a long day filling out a plethora of paperwork, rescheduling doc visits I missed, addressing more things at the cemetery, and paying bills. Youngest daughter helped.

I need a beer. Actually, I need several beers. This is a good one with which to start.
