Mike, have you had this Veil IPA before?

Really wanted to open the bottle of Pliny for President 2024 courtesy of @beergoot instead of this one but decided it should be the first beer in a sitting and not one after a few. Decisions. Decisions.

 

Earlier. So thing 1 & 2 took a trip out to California with their buddies to hit amusement parks and attend two different MLB games (following the Phillies). During their time there, they discovered Pliny and fell in love with it so they both brought bottles home. Thing 1 was kind enough to split a bottle with me, this brought a tear to my eye, I guess we were good parents after all and schooled them on good beer! (Bottled less than two weeks ago!! )



And right now / real time? Some Central PA New England IPA lovin', one of those breweries not setting it on fire but brewing consistently decent beers = I'm OK with that.



This is a little scary but no challenge for our resident drummer @LesDewitt4beer:

Magnify San Francisco knights lager. Wifes not feeling well so if she wants nasty slice and bake cookies then that's what she gets. Hate to admit they aren't all that bad

Agreed - that's what I look for - the thicker ones can be too woody. This is the season though.
