What was the date on that beer? I've had fresh Finestkind and it was excellent. It's important to get that one fresh or the hops fade.

Friends Forever, a West Coast Style IPA from Mikerphone. Pretty good but not quite packing the hop bitterness of the actual West Coast Space Dust I just had.

 

It's a Beautiful Morning by The Rascals playing in the background, at least in my mind and ears.

 

Revisiting Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald Porter. Good stuff!

 

I can just imagine the neighborhood hearing you guys screaming out those lyrics. LOL

I'm glad you liked it. Autodidact changed the recipe for this batch. They used a lot of oat, wheat, and barley with the New Zealand hops.

Another one from Old Schoolhouse, this time the Daydrinker Czech pils. It’s decent enough, though not necessarily the best pilsner out there.

More cricket! West Indies playing New Zealand in Trinidad. WI are having a bit of a hard time of it. There are still plenty of games left in the group stage, but it’s highly likely that the winner of this match will be the team that moves on. (Two from this group will move on, but Afghanistan is at the top of the standings and that’s unlikely to change.)
