The only style of leichtbier I fuck with

 

Cheshire Brewing (PA) Lime Time Mexican Lager. 4.2%. Heavy on the lime zest, but still pretty easy drinking.

Key City Brewing Co. Mr. Sippi Bohemian/Czech Style Pilsner



Attractive golden color with quickly dissapating small white cap.

Aroma of sweet malt and mildly spicy hops.

Taste primarily of malt that's a bit fuller and richer than average. Hops are sufficient to balance but stay quietly in the background. Flavors are good even if a bit subdued.

 

Some lager love @ The Palace Tavern, East Moline, IL. Iowa Brewing Co Eagle Amber Lager. Cheers!

 

El Hefe, from Holzlager, a Mexican style dark lager, call it a "hoppier" version of SA's Boston Lager

 

I think this is the first time I've ever had this in a glass outside of the brewery or a taproom/bar

 

Yes, brewing a beer such as this is indeed a challenging task.

The one on Vine and Hollywood does as well as the one in Santa Monica off Wilshire. Those are the only 2 i know of.

The one i went to(Vine) only has some refridgerated, but one awesome thing is their loose singles get put there so FUCK YEA.

 

I did some lager loving twice in a row today, which is rare, because I usually need a nap after once. Italian Pilsner & Butchers Blood Lager @ Crawford Brew Works. Cheers!

 

"Bus Beer" Czech-style Pilsner by Green Bench w/ Utepils, Cohesion, Schilling, Halfway Crooks, Schilling, Threes, and Monday Night.

While I wonder how much input each of the six(!) collaborating breweries actually had to do with this beer, it's a pretty good czech style pils. Reminds me most of Czechvar with that red apple fruitiness, and a nice bitter finish.

 

I would venture a guess that this is my favorite lager.

The only time this happened to me is only once when I found some sixers of Celebration Ale placed haphazardly in a nearby open cooler. Worked for me!

Light golden color with good white cap.

Aroma of sweet malt and spicy floral hops.

Good, crisp, clean taste of sweet malt well balanced with spicy/floral hops.

Light texture with balancing carbonation.

Brewer calls this an "Italian-style Pilsner" and I frankly don't know what that is. What I do know is this beer tastes good in a clean crisp sort of way.
