    One good thing about Indiana is you can find Zombie Dust fresh in most singles coolers. Up north visiting family.

    I use dried Carolina Reapers in my chili but it is a 10 pound batch of chili. Good heat to it!

    Nooooooo. Oilers own the Kings so they need to lose. I also love that a Canadian team hasn’t one the cup since the early 90’s when they beat the kings!!! Stupid McSorley

    ...I can imagine...used home-grown Ghost Peppers with some homegrown tomatillos last year for my chili entry in the 'mostly annual' neighborhood chili cookoff Mrs. BeerGoot and I host for at least the past 10-12 years...also used a home-smoked pork roast for the meat component...got second place (probably would have gotten 1st, but one judge based everything on the dislike for the heat - which wasn't that intense)...

    ...but, hey, it wasn't about being top-dog in the chili cook-off...for Mrs. BG and myself, it's hosting a neighborhood gathering that usually sees about 70-80+ people per year -- from young kids to doddering old fogies...I think last year we had about 20 chili entries (about par for the course)...personally, I hardly ever try the chilis as I'm more of a behind-the scenes host, but do somehow manage to hang out with the beer drinkers (especially towards the end of the party)...
