Back home after a couple of days in Michigan for work, this is hitting the spot. I liked it the first time I had it, really liked it the second time, and am now approaching “absolutely love it” territory. Very good stuff, IMHO.

And the glassware is sublime. JMHO.

Revolution DB VSOJ 2022 (BBA Barleywine). Gushed a bit upon opening, but tastes fine. Gotta continue culling the herd, as the first drop of the new season is Thursday. Cheers!

Tucher Brau Helles (5.2%): A German Helles with flavors of smooth pale Munich malts, earthy honey, lightly toasted. Smooth.

Picked up more of these. Quite possibly my favorite German Helles.

    1) Hop Butcher Cosmic Fountain (7.5% canned 3/18/24): A NEIPA from Chicago with Citra, Waimea & Mosaic for flavors of tropical orange, grape, resinous stonefruit and berries.
    versus
    2) Hop Butcher Loophole Technicality (7.5% canned 4/16/24): A NEIPA from Chicago with Amarillo, Strata, & Galaxy for flavors of tropical pineapple, mango, and peach. Tropical and sweet. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner: Hop Butcher Cosmic Fountain
Hop Butcher IPA Battle. Both rated World-Class. First is Cosmic Fountain. Citra, Waimea and Mosaic. Hop Butcher does the Mosaic hop so well and the Waimea adds a nice tropical component. Wasn't as impressed, but as I drink my last of this one, I'm appreciating it more.

I've worked in 110° and even a few more days hotter in the kitchen but today outside was prob the hottest with the humidity.
    Almost done though...
I've decided this fits into the Light Lager category. Still I'd take this over any AAL. Infinitely crushable. [IMG]

Damn...I'm so jealous of many of these Hop Butcher battles since we don't get some of the contestants here in St. Louis.

#2, out for Mexican food with Mrs O, this is the only choice, IMHO. Always enjoy this, especially without the lime.

Ha I feel like I have see you with more new and fresh Hop Butcher IPAs than me. I buy them in bulk when I see them and by the time I get to them they usually have some age. I think St. Louis may have a better distribution from them.
