    Revolution Oktoberfest. Usually resist this style until mid September but it was the most appealing lager in the grocery store. Cheers, everyone!

    look: 4 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

    Pale yellow pour, slightly hazy; dense, fast-moving carbonation; thick, frothy head, white with a lightly creamy texture; rocky. Very pleasing aroma; lightly herbal and floral; a bit of very delicate malt grain presence; sublime underlying sweetness. Balanced taste; mild malt sweetness with a modicum of hop bitterness; a tad grassy, a tad herbal. Medium-light mouthfeel; lightly coarse on the palate; gentle sweetness caresses the palate.

    An all-around nicely made lager. The flavors are a bit subdued yet still pleasing overall.

    at first taste, it was a little thin, but definitely grew on me as it warmed up.
