Never thought of myself as having commitment issues but at 18%abv I had to acknowledge im not going anywhere or doing much tonight. Just me and beer

It's a perfect marriage! I hear ya - I think we didn't drink it early because it had coffee in it and neither one of us are early morning drankers.... so we forgot about it.

 

Drekker Strawberry Spread It PB&J Fruited Sour, 6% ABV. I previously rated this 4.23. I hadn't planned to have a beer tonight, but my daughter tried this and decided she doesn't like peanut butter in beer. I sure wasn't going to pour it out.

Now she's having a Half Brothers Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing On Rainbows Fruited Sour. Kids and unicorns, sheesh.

 

I have yet to have a bad beer from these fine folks in Carlsbad...

 

Offshoot Beer's Tropical Escape West Coast IPA......Nice fruit IPA, not overpowering, with a nice bitterness near the end.

 

The front page the next day told a different story.

 

Nice choice! We(my wife ) is making a goulash with peppers ,tomatoes onions and elbow macaroni .

 

Good job on the eggplant . 24 hours is along time for any of us to be left to the decision making.

 

This is new one to me here in Tucson. Une Annee of Niles, IL. My wife enjoys tripels so this was for her tonight. Tasty!

This batch is 3 weeks old and ripping my face off (in a good way, the Nelson and Citra combo is singing, but with good bitterness)

And with a tune that makes sense..
