Thanks Eric! I get upset with myself when I'm not doing what I know I should be doing, but somehow the Mount Greylock race on Sept 1st went quite well all things considered. Perhaps there's something to this no-training theory hahaha! </s>

I do intend to be prepared a month from now for the series/circuit finals at Cranmore Mountain. It's an awesome course and I want to go out with a bang this year. Did well there last year, but have friends and elderly parents coming to spectate this one. The pressure is ON!

Good to hear. Right Proper is a pretty solid brewer, in my opinion.

Decided to have another from the same SEVA brewery, since 'tis actually finally season.

 

I bought this almost a year ago at Valkyrie Brewing's Oktoberfest in Dallas, Wisconsin. Sadly, it was the last one. They closed in January for good. I will miss the party, and the smoked Oktoberfest beer - Whispering Embers. I was there with my friend Tim, and met up with @cheeseheadinMinneapolis .

 

I have been holding out getting some Oktoberfest but I think it is now about time I do.

Obviously, I don't know what your local breweries are doing. If you're looking for a good national Oktoberfest, I do recommend Sierra Nevada's Oktoberfest from this year. It's sold out in this area, unless the distributor gets more. I do like it this year a lot.

HDHC Like Like Whoa Whoa

A collaboration between Trillium, Other Half and The Veil. Imperial IPA hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Galaxy and Motueka. Tasty but the Nelson hops are kind of overwhelmed by the other 2. Cheers!
