Average work day in the books, a cold one sounds nice. Stovepipe of Logyard - Trees Louise WC style IPA. This is SOLID, I wasn't expecting it to be this good! Cheers!

First time I’ve had this one. When I opened the can and heard the weird sound I thought I’d done something wrong because I did not know it had one of those nitro widgets inside. Interesting beer—quite English. Puts me in the mood for some spotted dick, perhaps some bangers and mash, finished off with a wee bit of figgy pudding. Cheers!

There ain't no fixing my garage door. Stamped 1980 inside the motor housing. I'm having a great week! At least the door can be easily bolted for safety. But just to be safe...

I wish they’d make a barrel aged version of that variant. Cheers.

#2, this beer literally tastes like the name of the beer - it’s French Toast with some bourbon for good measure. I need to buy more of this while it’s still available. World class stuff, IMHO.

I have no idea how old this is, but, since Avery hasn't been in this market in a very long time, I'd say it's old as heck.

From a 22oz bottle. No date on it, but, since Avery hasn't been in this market in a long time, it's old. Local purchase.

There's a great hiss and some smoke upon opening the bottle. This is a dark and clear amber pouring beer. I have no idea how old this beer is, but it has got an amazing head. 3 fingers, off white, and very long lasting. Some beautiful sticky lacing on the glass as the head finally dissipates.
The aroma is quite malty. Now, I'm assuming fresh, this would be a hop bomb. The beer has a ton of caramel notes to it, a great rye bread like aroma, toffee. Slight earthy aroma that's the only indication of hops in this beer.
Ok, in the flavor I do get some hops still, and the hop effect does linger. It is a piney hop flavor. I do get a metric bleep ton of rye bread in the flavor. I get a good caramel hit. There's a strong, but pleasing bitterness in this beer from the hops, and this bitterness does cling and stick in my throat.
The body is so sticky feeling. It is quite full. There's a smooth alcohol burn, not harsh, but smooth.
Like I said, I have no clue how old this beer is, so I have no comparison on how it is fresh. I can say that this aged version is quite tasty, and I'm glad I bought all the bottles of it at the store.

Drekker Eager Eyes NEIPA, 6.6% ABV. Pours hazy golden with 1.4 finger white head that left some lacing. Aroma is light citrus and tropical fruit. Taste follows, no sweetness, some pine. Decent dry mouthfeel, overall very good.

Another great selection. This is excellent! Have seen many a post and went in search of. The previous one, Logyard, was outstanding from start to finish. Reviews were confusing, maybe they changed the recipe from a hazy to a WC and kept the same name. Either way, two great beers tonight. Cheers!

...I'm stoked to see Napolean MB (again)...the first time I saw Zappa had to be early 70s at Vet's Memorial in Columbus, so that would be the time frame for what I consider FZ's prime band lineup...and if Ray W and Ike W are part of the 14 member band lineup, it's all a bonus...
