Sue back then was NOT a hazy, and only available at the brewery in bombers. It was ….. sublime, IMHO.

 

I may just go to the Veil brewery tomorrow morning (assuming I can get off my sorry ass) and pick up some four packs of IPAs they released today. This one unfortunately is not one of them.

Only available in bombers , it was so good, started out at $5,99 at first.Used to buy it in Hudson,WI ,and had to wait a couple of weeks between deliveries , There was nothing like it.

I had the pleasure of having a bomber of Sue back in the day. Was outstanding. I feel like ZD and Sue really advanced the popularity of the Citra hop to where it is today. The OG versions of them are a distant memory unfortunately. Cheers!

They make fine beers, and I like their signature tree picture

 

Continuing the Citra trend with Hop Butcher Snorkel Squad IPA (100% Citra). More malt balance on this one compared to the Fieldwork Pulp and a bit sweeter, but still has a heavenly hop character. This is the crown jewel of hazy Citra IPA's for me, but if I access to Pulp, I might drink that one more. Y'all are spoiled on the west coast!
