Gearing up for Seahawks-Rams with one of my last fresh hop beers of the season—and this is one of the oldest, canned in August. Kind of a disgrace actually. Oh well. Cheers! Go Hawks! Vote!

On a different note, my son came home with this impulse buy. Everyone in the house hates them. They will go the solids-equivelent of a drain pour.

Well, it sure feels like Stout Season today. I'm drinking The Saddest Day, a BBA Imperial Stout from Twin Elephant Brewing Co., conditioned on Tonga and Comoros vanilla beans and hazelnuts. Super decadent. 13%. An appropriate Sunday sipper for Giants and Jets fans. Cheers!

Me: Dad, you weren't handing out Payday candy bars for Halloween, were you?
Dad: Yeah. I handed them out.
Me: Do you not like the kids in your neighborhood?
Dad: This way they won't come back next year.
