Porter Recommendations

    So I have recently gotten into porters. Right now my favorites are great lakes edmund fitzgerald, revolutions eugene, and founders porter. I'm interested in trying three floyds alpha klaus; any others anyone would recommend?

    I'm not a huge fan of porters but I really enjoyed the Alpha Klaus. I've also heard good things about Cigar City's Jose Marti Porter, I picked up a bottle for my gf but it sounds hoppy enough (65 IBU) that I might drink it myself.

    Founders, Edmund Fitz; I am also a big fan of the Sierra Nevada and Bell's. I haven't had the Smuttynose Robust Porter but can attest that the Smuttynose Baltic Porter is spectacular and a good value.

    Just had my first eddy fitz and bummed i only have one from trade. sooooo good. honestly im gonna second Deschuttes Black Butte Porter that beer is off the charts good my fav porter and ill also second Jose Marti since im a FL native. Even though im being a homer with that Jose Marti is a damn good porter

    Marti and Alpha Klaus were actually pretty similar. Both are delicious.
