I love hearing that coming from a chef!

 

Use to not be able to get it in my area but they redid my gas station and now offer lil bit of everything. I like having the options. 2.79 for the 24 C45 isn't bad either.

Thank you I truly appreciate that. It's makes years of really working hard seem so much more satisfying. I rarely had anyone call me Chef - especially after almost 40 years in restaurants cooking...I assured them that was not necessary....because if you're not a great cook you can't consider yourself a chef. I just wanted to set an example. I love cooking and working as a team. There are so damn many parts to making a place successful. The last few years at the restaurant I was doing just that before the fire. Menu and recipe development and working with young people that want ro work and learn. Lots of diversity and learning cultures. That's the joy for me.

Awesome glass. Our son (Thing 1) is a huge fan of the Kasteel Donker Quad, bought him one of those glasses. It's pretty elegant.

 

Agree - I bought a case worth last year and down to the last 4 or 5. Should've bought more .

Bottled 10/16/23. Was their last Barrel Aged Series release last year. I highly dislike their new website that doesn't show release dates and what's coming. Damn corporate takeovers.

I like the last week and a half before Christmas at work, even with craziness and cranky customers. Now home having hot dog soup and an all time favorite.

 

Looks great, we alway do that but in reverse when we eat out.
