Please bring back your guest tap at all your locations for 2025. Especially at your Sunset location. It’s always nice to have a pour of Pliny along side one of your great cheek beers.

I didn’t realize they had removed the guest taps, though I don’t recall seeing them last couple times in Costa Mesa. Always did enjoy some of the great guest beers.

They slowly dropped the guest beers as they brewed more n more beers from their Oceanside location. At the Sunset location they had Athletics non alcoholic beers on tap and more Oceanside beers. Maybe they will bring back the guest beers once they stop brewing at the O location?

Have a client meeting in Huntington Beach later this month. Is the PCH location the best of the bunch? if so, any dinner recommendations in the area? Thanks!

Depends on who you ask. Yes for me because it’s a 10 minute drive for me. Or an hour plus walk. Staff is cool. Good atmosphere and location. 2nd floor you have a partial view of the beach/ocean. They have a drive thru for those just what to pick up cans and go. They play my kinda music. They do have food menu and their smashburger is very good. But I’ll have to give the RiiP’s smashburger the nod over Cheeky’s. There’s more on the menu, you can check out on their website. RiiP is less than a mile south from GC on PCH. Again, more food menu and great west coast ipas, lagers and stouts. If you have time stop in RiiP. Everytime I hit up GC and RiiP, there’s more people at RiiP. There right across the street from the beach n ocean. And there’s Beachwood Pizza up the street from RiiP…..

From a location perspective, Huntington Green Cheek will work the best for you. It’s a cool space, has its own kitchen and close to the beach … for a non-local / visitor, I’d recommend HB location. For me personally I prefer the Costa Mesa location … love its vibe, space, food, etc. But honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of the 4 GC locations.

Thank you Sunset Cheeky. Pliny the Elder is back on tap at the SB location. Just what the doctor ordered. :ok_hand:

Do you live somewhere that Pliny is hard to find? If I went to Green Cheek, I would drink Green Cheek beers and only Green Cheek beers.

Of course I can buy the elder almost anywhere these days. Mr Kegs, Whole Foods, etc. I go to GCSB once a week and I drink GC beers all the time. Always have GC cans in the beer fridge. But it’s nice to have a choice of some guest beers from time to time. Especially when a 10oz pour of pliny cost $6. After the Pliny pour I had a pour of GC’s DDH Radiantr. Lighter tasting than the pliny but delicious. But the way, I live in the Hop Triangle of HB. Three outstanding breweries within walking distance. Don’t get me started on cheeky beers…:heavymetal:

How's the walk from RiiP to GC on PCH? Had a client move a meeting so it's now shaping up like this:

    * Afternoon slice and a beer at RiiP Pizzeria. Check into hotel.
    * Smashburger for dinner and a beer or two at RiiP PCH. Walk to GC PCH and finish the night.
    * Breakfast at Steadfast Cafe. Head back towards LAX with a stop at Monkish on the way.

Sounds like a plan man. A good one. 15-20 minute walk to GC from RiiP. If you can squeeze another stop, Beachwood Pizza. :beers:

Anything on tap at RiiP and/or GC that you would say is "must have" at the moment? Can't have them all so trying to narrow down the options.

Appreciate the thought on Beachwood. Made it there last visit two years ago and didn't hit GC or RiiP, not sure I can squeeze it in on this trip unfortunately.

Don’t buy much hazy’s these days. When I do it’s mostly from Green Cheek. Mellower than Monks. Took a chance on this collab with Pure. Both do a good job on hazy’s. Ones cheaper than the other. Wanna guess which ones more? Anyways, this one’s good. Fresh cans.

I saw this one on Instagram earlier today. Nelson hops. Like you, I don’t do hazy too often nowadays but this one sounds interesting. I might stop by for cans later this week.
