I think DGC debuted at Stout Week last year and it was offered to LC. To say nothing about that beer in particular.

 

What day(s) of the week are the to special to-go releases usually for stout week?

 

Nobody knows, they don’t usually do to go releases except for maybe one

 

Last year during stout week was basically DBD Double Willet Double Tanzanian. If you were in line, they passed tickets out for the 'right' to purchase a to-go bottle if you wanted one.

But that was the only to-go option I remember. I don't believe it was advertised prior that there would be to-go bottles as I think they had released it in a package (if I'm not mistaken, I had purchased a package, and remember lamenting that if I had known I could just purchase bottles on site, I wouldn't have done that).

I am a little confused about the new pizza place. Is it the pizza place that was across from the brewery or is it a different location? Is it just pizza with some beers?

 

It replaced pizza champ, which closed at the end of 2024.

Pizza also went from 18 to 14 inches

 

The logic here must be: How many vanilla beers can we make in a 12 mo period? I love nilla but I feel like been banging that drum a lot.

 

Double Rye, Double Vanilla is about as close to a perfect adjunct beer gets for me. Wish it was coffee instead of vanilla, but that's an attractive bottle.

This easily has to the LC session with the most beers that got a public release and no chance offered to La coterie. It’s for sure the weirdest membership I’m in as far as what is public and what gets offered to members.

I might be in the minority, but I’m pumped for Stout Week!
