And since BA was an option for another question, I agree it's a wink and a nod at this thread, and that's pretty hilarious. Game recognize game.

 

This survey is sooo weird. Half the questions don't really apply if you're an out of towner. How do I rate pickups at the brewery? They're fine - I don't do any of them. If I'm local to StL, am I a proxy? I'm not local...but there's only a yes/no and no n/a. How many people do I proxy for? Well...zero. But that's not an option. Do I just leave it blank?

And then no area to just type in comments or suggestions. Doesn't seem like this givese them much information tbh.

 

Side Project choose your own adventure for final LC bottle:

--Tete de Cuvee 2023 or another waxed saison - 35% of LC does not renew

--750mL BA Stout with wax, wood box, and glass - 5% of LC does not renew, 30% of LC is able to sell their bottle to make rent

--375mL BA Stout that sees a public release 1 week later - 30% of LC says they won't renew, but truthfully only 15% don't renew.

--BA Safe Terminal b2 - 99% of LC does not renew

Last year renewals/invites went out on the 27th, and I believe the only announcement accompanying that was that Derivation Grand Cru would be LC's first bottle of the 2025 year (it had just been released on site at Stout Week).

 

I think the next bottle announcement might actually be the 1st bottle of the next LC (making this list even more accurate).

Since we all got a chance to buy the packages, we can now purchase the DB Finish series in a box set. The box set is for 4 bottles and includes 2 Aspens for the reasonable price of $300.

I reupped. i'm gonna run it back for another year with the hopes that I'll get more out of the membership in my 2nd year than the first.

They definitely are doing absolutely nothing to entice people to come back. Anyone NOT get an invite this time? Wondering if the LC will grow, shrink (haha), or stay the same size. I suppose it could shrink if enough of us bowed out. If nothing changes, not sure why any local would join, but can understand why an out-of-towner would be interested.
