    Structures Dreams III BBA Imperial Stout, 12.5% ABV. Pours thick and the blackest black, with a ring of bubbles that dissipated (while I f'd around trying to get the focus right), leaving an oily sheen. Aroma is strong coconut, maple syrup, chocolate, and coffee. Taste follows, with chocolate and coffee taking the lead, quite sweet, just short of cloying, faintly bitter, no bourbon burn. Excellent thick and smooth mouthfeel, overall world class.

    Yes - it's a term I haven't heard in years. I do mine in the pressure cooker and it comes out perfect every time. I cooked it in a bottle of Guinness Extra Stout and Wormtown Red Irish Ale.

    My son and I are trying our last (for now) new beer in our fridge. This one is Firestone Walker's Pear Saison. While I am not a huge saison fan, this is quite good.

    I normally am not a big fan of Resurgence stouts, but these surprise BA finds are phenomenal. This blended stout is a cuvée of multiple single barrels in the series, e,g., Old Fitz, Woodford, peach brandy… I see myself buying up as much as I can / they have.
