Phase Three Swells (6.5%): A West-Coast IPA from Chicago with Citra, Centennial, and Simcoe for flavors of orange, lemon, pine, and smooth apricot.

Cool beer name and great hop combo from Phase Three. Standard Citra and Centennial for some lemon and pine flavors. The Simcoe adds a bit of that sweet apricot. Finish leans sweeter and heavier. Mild bitterness, but evolves a bit as it warms. It's pretty good, hard to say great.

 

I'm not surprised you had played a version of that. Right in your wheelhouse. Sounds awesome. Smart moved avoiding the red flag too!

Harpoon IPA while working on making some Pappardelle with Bolognese sauce for dinner.



Added some Calabrian chilies for a little heat ..

 

I will add that this is one of the better beers I've had in a while. I'll get more for sure.
