Usually don't stout on weekdays but was looking for a non-hazy, Narwhal! Meeting a great friend for lunch tomorrow. He was an engineering director/scientist at Lockheed for 35 years, been friends since 1990.

I remember finding a bar in Long Beach with that on tap a few Junes ago, awesome. What sucked is it turned into a dance club on the weekend in the evening. One glass of that per visit was enough, deadly drinkability!

 

I’ve got a half dozen people’s versions in my Spotify queue right now — Koko Taylor might be the best.

Wasn't planning on another beer after that train wreck of the last one. I got a call from the police department: one of the 2 shoplifters at work was caught and confessed to stealing tequila. He is 16. Happy days, and hope the kid gets scared straight.

 

Like drinking an Oreo Milkshake with some coffee & booze mixed in!

 

Easily the best beer I found on that trip & trust me I was hunting! As best you can with no wheels.

 

That's so true, all you have to do is watch Man Vs Food to really see true gluttony, pretty disgusting.

At least this guy isn't as disgusting as the Man Vs Food guy

Calm before the storm with March Madness. Hoping Michigan can somehow figure out how to stop turning over the ball and finds a way to beat Auburn. Tall task.

Only one for the night is a Bell's Expedition Stout. This is my last one from 2017. I'd say this beer is perfect with 1 year less age on it. It still tastes great - more fig/raisin flavor comes through but chocolate still very prevalent. 5-6 years is the sweet spot with this one IMO.
