1) Phase Three Unused PTO (8.0% canned 12/17/24): A NEIPA from Chicago with Mosaic, Vic Secret, and Strata for flavors of orange, lime, green guava, melon, and grape. Smooth and green.
versus
2) Phase Three Unchecked Imagination (7.8% canned 1/17/25): A NEIPA from Chicago with Motueka and Citra for flavors of orange citrus, smooth green lime and melon. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Phase Three NEIPA Battle. First is Unused PTO. A fantastic blend of Vic Secret and Strata here giving it some pineapple, grapefruit, coconut, and mango flavors. Complex and drinking amazingly well still at four months. My last of the bunch.
Next is Unchecked Imagination. My all-time favorite from Phase Three. Smooth and sweet tropical green melon and lime from the Motueka.
Both are top of the game from Phase Three. I think they bring the Motueka hop to another level in Unchecked Imagination.
Winner: Phase Three Unchecked Imagination

Another busy day of retirement. Hit the gym this morning, it's free now that I've turned 65. Mowed my mother-in-law's lawn and hung a new curtain rod & curtains, or should I say drapery (it's in the living room) for the Mrs. Gonna take a break with a short story, can't do the novel thing. New Glarus Spotted Cow. Then a walk. Cheers!

 

Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA in the glass. Always love this one.

Some Brit Pop spinning, with the new Black Country, New Road album. That I can't get enough of lately.

 

Revolution Anti-Hero IPA (6.7% canned 3/3/2025): An American IPA from Chicago with flavors of grapefruit, orange, apricot, and tangerine marmalade.

Continuing on the Chicago trend @ChicagoJ and maybe not a more Chicago IPA than this one. This is fresh and one of the best American IPAs I know of, next to Bells Two-Hearted. It has the same orange, apricot, and marmalade flavor. Slightly more bitterness and pine, which I prefer. I'd give it a higher rating. Sort of a blend between American and West-Coast IPA. Good thing I picked up a six-pack and to find it this fresh is a privilege.

Shadows and indoor lighting are quite a challenge sometimes. Gotta have just enough light coming from behind you on the shot with those kinds of cans.

 

I had about 178 GB of data to move over, plus installing my audio mastering tools - Ozone 8 and Sony Soundforge. But all is done and running well now and I've officially retired my old laptop and moved my other laptop back to backup status. Cheers!!!!

 

Speaking of Saaz hops. This had a bunch with a touch of Sterling. Poor Todd doesn't have a chance.
