I haven't stood in like for anything at RR, let alone shared bottles on the sidewalk (except in Vegas )

Has anyone actually done this? How does RR feel about it? Is there some secret way of sharing beer while standing in line?

I'd love to bring some stuff up from the cellar, but it's not worth the risk if they crack down on it.

Edit: futura answered it. Has anyone actually done this within RR?

At the PtY release they did not allow bottleshares. But I believe that was more due to the fact that they want people to get out ASAP with PtY, while with Beat plenty of people will just grab the bottles and run, so space will be less of an issue. So they'll probably allow it.

Of course, we'd need to ask first.

If anyone needs a ride up from San Francisco, I'd cover your gas and ride to/from RR if you'd let me buy a bottle (or two) from your 6 bottle allowance. Planning on bringing some bottles to share as well. Was thinking bourbon county, bourbon plead the 5th and an avery sour.

Are any LA/OC BAs making the drive up to RRBC on Friday morning? I'm in Pasadena and I'd be down to share the 5 dollar a gallon gas. Looking to head back either Friday night or Saturday afternoon...

By the way, do you guys really think bottles will last into Saturday? I feel like they'll last til later in the day Friday but not past 7-8pm. There are definitely 2,000 people into beatification that much. Row 2 just went back on tap too...hell ya!

I think they will, but I'm not certain about it. 60-40 or so. It's really hard to say.

Also, I heartily agree with the "hell ya" re: Row 2, I'll definitely be filling a growler.

Can you pass me the Cantillon you're drinking when you stop at the toll plaza?

I thought it may last until the weekend before but after seeing many Socal/Sacramento crews making the road trip I doubt that. 40-60 or so.Totally dig Row 2- one of the best APA- Zombie Dust rivalry.

I'll be there on my lunch break on Friday. Sadly, don't think I'll be joining in on any bottle share. :slight_frown:

I have Thursdays off if anyone wants a tour of the city and or grab some beers at local spots. I will also be making the trek early Friday to cop some Beats so I hope to meet some of you in line.

It seems like it'd be best if we post-poned the bottleshare until we're off premise as to not hassle Vinnie and Natalie. Our hotel room is open to you kind folk if you want to share good beers and company!

If you can try to bring some Barrel Aged Jester King. We just started getting most of there standard lineup here in Cali, and I really like what I've tried so far.

I will be getting up to Santa Rosa a bit later in the day (I have to work :slight_frown: ). If all you hoarders buy it all, I'm gonna be pissed!
That said, I'm planning to spend the night up there at a friend's place. I'd be down for a bottle share. Any requests, beyond Rare and Barrel-Aged?

Due to incredibly stupid beer laws here in Texas, that won't be possible. I may bring a bottle of Das Wunderkind, or Beer Geek Rodeo, if it hits in time. I know you all wouldn't have gotten those.

Have none of you people ever been to Russian River? If you share beer in line that means you have an open container in the streets of downtown Santa Rosa. Don't ask if Vinnie/Natalie like it, you should be wondering if the police like it.

Also again, why a line when there is enough for 2,000 people?

Out of curiosity, why Lagunitas over the Bear?
