Grapefruit but no pine. Mild bitterness. We thought it was the best of the IPAs we drank today so I grabbed a 4/pk to go…Cheers from Asheville y’all!

Have a good Monday. I worked 2 hours in the morning under the downpour, then they sent us to a warehouse, and never called to confirm. So I got paid to listen to The Devil in the Freezer by Richard Preston in the car. It's a lot like The Hot Zone, but about biological weapon insights, mostly into the smallpox slants and testing they had stockpiled in the 90s but never destroyed. Only like 20% of the book talks about Anthrax, even though the cover advertises it the most. 4/5 stars. Played some steam games today as well. Big Drunk Satanic Massacre is fun.

Christen the new BA glass. @Todd great review on packing from Half Time. the bubble wrap to glass ratio was over 4/1. My cat knocked the box on the floor too, and it was fine

7/6/2019 canning. Wowee. Still plenty of Ris bitterness. Good pecan presence and dark fruit melanoidin character. Solid barrel still there. Super smooth mild warmth of abv.

I"m doing well thank you!!! I was also tied up with medical crap at the VA this afternoon. All went well, but I haven't seen the results of the blood/urine tests yet. I did find out I have a bit of eczema on my arm - it's just a small area, but itches. I bought some OTC creams to help clear it up. Sucks getting old, no doubt about it!!

An alleged WC IPA, but detect no pine. Still grapefruit rind mild bitterness. Our second favorite IPA at the brewery today, so I grabbed a 4/pk of this beer to go as well.
