What beer are you drinking now? #4592

1) Phase Three Linear Gradient (7.8% canned 2/17/25): A NEIPA from Chicago with Citra, Amarillo, & Moteuka for flavors of orange, tangelo, some smooth lime and mango.
versus
2) Phase Three Six! (8.0% no canning date): A NEIPA from Chicago with Eclipse, Citra, and Galaxy for flavors of orange zest, grapefruit, pineapple, and peach zest. Zesty. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Phase Three NEIPA Battle. First is Linear Gradient. Excellent hops including Motueka for some tropical lime, mango, and berry flavors.
Next is Six! for their six year anniversary. Some brighter hops with a grapefruit, pineapple, and peach zest flavor. Bright and zesty.
I'm slightly biased toward to hop combo with Motueka from Linear Gradient, but both are top notch.
Winner: Phase Three Linear Gradient

I love this glass because of the concave shape and its heft - it could double as a dumbbell. I love this beer because it’s at least six months old (purchased in late November in Wisconsin) and it is still exquisitely delicious.

Aside from my quick stop at Bakes Brewing it was a horrific dive south due to heavy rain and the NJ Transit railroad strike. Traffic on the Garden State Parkway was unbearable. Finally made it. Beer me, please!

 

Kicking off the weekend with my last Urban Chestnut Prickly Pear Ku’Damm. Had quarter inch hail for several minutes here. Glad it wasn’t larger. Downtown St. Louis is east of here and it was hit with a weak tornado. Just enough rain to cancel my son’s baseball doubleheader. My daughter is going to conduct an orchestra concert with a bunch of 5th graders playing in it so I will be popping out for that and back on here later.

 

Strictly in the name of science, of course.
