I wasn't expecting a thin, cloudy looking beer, but I don't know what a 'modern style' beer is. Plenty of dank hop notes over citrus.

Hogshead Hog Wild IPA on cask…whoa!

 

I have have been having a tough time deciding what's next. I finally chose this.

 

Decided to check out a new to us brewery after enjoying the early afternoon with my folks, mainly because it was right up the street. It’s one of those destination, family-oriented places. Large area, lots of things going on. The first beer is an okay beer, and I missed the “other” qualifier to the Pilsner style, but it’s pretty middling. The day is lovely to be outside and an okay beer is good enough (the GF’s IPA is old school IPA with malt opening and a sneaky strong bitter ending).

 

Finback Rolling In Clouds. A bit sweet, but a real nice drinker
