You can listen to Kind of Blue in any setting. Its great as background, but the more close listening you do the more nuances you pick out. And its always good to bond...my Mom and I can sit in the same room and read forever. My Dad can't take it, and has no idea how we do that, he just paces around or watches more news programs ha.

But, next time put on Live-Evil and that will force your Mom to listen...she might thinks its awful but at least you can't not listen to it ha.

 

You know I've said it before, but I have no use for Miles Davis. I find most of his music really annoying, that trumpet is like nails on a chalkboard. Just MHO .. and besides, he was a racist a......
