    1) Dovetail Kölsch (4.6%): A Kölsch-style ale from Chicago with flavors of toasty Munich bread malts and yeast. Clean and dry.
    versus
    2) Dovetail Helles (4.4%): A German Helles Lager from Chicago with flavors of light citrusflower, honeysuckle, and pale Munich bread malts. Light and clean.

    Dovetail Battle. First is their Kolsch. Bright snappy and fruity. Next is their Helles. Smooth, yeasty, also lightly fruity. Dovetail makes some outstanding lagers. Their Kolsch is excellent, but their helles is renown.
    Winner: Dovetail Helles

    Happy Thursday everyone. I’m now at a point with my cellar reduction project where I need to focus on consuming my very oldest beers—they are not going to improve with more age. Bottled in 2013, this is the best one to start with. If I start drinking early enough in the day I can pace myself and keep things manageable. Cheers!

    HA! I did the nude bathing thing in Iceland a few years back - very liberating - no ethanol involved. However, a few people did have visual problems afterward.

    Back home with the new knee. Still riding the nerve block, so I am not sure how much pain I may be in later. In past, it usually hits while I am sleeping. So water for me.



    When I came out of it my BP was high. Went to the bathroom at the Surgical Center, second trip, so I was unsupervised. Looked down & there was a decent amount blood. One of my staples was leaking. So now I have a second Ace Wrap on. Fun
