Its Ok, but nothing special for me. I won't buy another bottle at the 20+ price tag.

Good, but better with 1+ years of age on it IMO. I passed this year due to price, and spending too much on other beer.

I had it once, and liked it, but cant remember to what degree I liked it. But I cant pull the trigger on nearly $30 a bottle

I thought it was OK. Not sure if it was just me, but it seemed to have waaaaaay more carbonation than any other BA stout I've ever had. I also found it a little thin for my taste and didn't have as much bourbon character as I like my BA stouts to have.

I do think it's a unique BA Stout and worth trying once. I do remember it got much better as I drank it (it wasn't too cold when I started, so it's not like it needed to warm up). Not sure the reason for that, but that is one thing I do distinctly remember. If I ever have another, I'm going to crack it and let it sit for an hour or so before consuming.

Pricy, too pricy. I've almost traded for this a couple of times and each time I can't stomach the cost. Want to try it - yes, want to pay the high price tag for it - no.

Due to the champagne yeast they use. I'm not a fan of it either

I would point you in the direction of its reviews but, since the site change, you'll get way more numbers than actual opinions.

it's okay with a year+ of age on it, however it's too expensive, overcarbonated and slightly one-note in the amount of harsher bourbon alcohol that comes through.

look at it this way - would you rather have one Black Ops or a 4pk of BCBS (and a few $ to spare)?

Ticked it once, not worth the price to revisit.

I was in Cleveland over the holidays and saw this on the shelf for $8.99. I bought two bottles and will age the hell out of them, as the previous bottle I had still was very boozy after 1+ year of age on it.

I bought three bottles, drank one fresh and put the other two down. I liked it but found the profile lacked any significant bourbon barrel influence. Not saying it's a bad thing but certainly a different style of BA beer. I don't regret buying them and look forward to tasting with some age on them.

Or you could uncheck the "Show Hads:" checkbox on the reviews page and undo the reason for your complaint.
