Moments I have longed for have arrived. @SawDog505 starts us off with this brewery so often. I have been jealous. Until @TCgenny provided this bounty. Little Willow Brewing belongs right up there with the other New England heavyweights. I have also longed for Netflix's Ed Gein documentary, which premiered today. As soon as I can leave this sun, I will dive deep into it. Next week I have charted a course for the Black Gold release at Central Waters Brewing in Amherst, WI, with @azuelke and @cheeseheadinMinneapolis, then I will dine in Plainfield, WI. Where the Ed Gein saga unfolded. Then on to Madison, WI, for Iowa Hawkeyes at Wisconsin Badgers. The Iowa Hawkeyes will probably wear a Wisconsin Badgers furry pelt as a facemask.

 

Welcome to Red Sox Nation! When you go to Fenway, swing through the greater Philly area. I'll have a hat and jersey (and maybe some beer) for you. My allegiance has shifted to the Phillies. Maybe well see you in the NLCS. Cheers!

Absolutely! With all due respect to my brothers, @RaulMondesi and @jzeilinger, I am hoping for a Philadelphia Phillies versus Milwaukee Brewers NLCS. There would be all kinds of storylines. And when Philadelphia Eagles fans come here in November, we would have much to discuss before doing shots together, then fighting. Then having coffee and pancakes together. As I have envisioned.

What? I don't plan on going to Amherst for Black Gold release. I have no interest in Hot Honey. What is the scoop anyhow? Do you have to pay to get in? buy tickets? Are they going to have other beers on tap like barleywines or older BA stouts? All I want is Milwaukee 4 stout anyhow. Really I could go if I really want to, not much holding me back (maybe yard work/rack leaves and getting the place ready for winter) . But I have plenty of BA stout bottles in the basement. I don't needed anymore. Plus Black Friday is coming up soon and I may not go. I'm getting old..
