1) New Glarus Bubbler (4.0%): A Hefeweizen from Wisconsin with flavors of orange, fruity yeast and juicyfruit with bubblegum, banana, and spices. Clean.
versus
2) Weihenstephaner Kristalweissbier (5.4%): A German Kristallweizen with flavors of orange. German spices, citrus, and baked banana bread. (Correctly matched the two blind)

German Weizen Battle. First is New Glarus. Bready, bubblegum, orange, banana spice. Rounded and clean. Outstanding. Next is Wiehenstephaners Kristallweizen. Distinctly more orange and bready malt sweetness Seemed a bit sweeter and more flat.
I think New Glarus has one of the best Hefeweizens here.

Onto round 2 and getting into my last Double Bastard from April 2024. Hopefully this is not the last release. This is still aggressively hoppy with great creaminess. Citrus and pine all the way with a lovely caramel malt dominated base. Dig this beer!

Hello mates. I'm finally getting around to enjoying this Insight Dropping Bangers Hazy IPA. Man what a great tasting beer. Hops are Krush, Vera & Elani. Very nice berry, melon rind and a touch of stone fruit. Wow. Cheers!!

Dogfish Head 120 minute, 2024 edition. A beer that took me years to find, but was worth the search. At 15.5%, it's on the lower end, I'm curious to how the stronger vintages compare.
