Time for a beer on this raw, damp Sunday afternoon. They're talking about a snowstorm here on Tuesday, hearing various estimates fro 3 to 7 inches to 8 to 12. KI'm already looking forward to next spring In the meantime, a stout will do nicely. This one is Archaism Imperial Stout from Medusa Brewing in Hudson MA. Also, in the process of making some turkey soup for dinner. Cheers!!

Have a good Sunday BA. Driving home from Ohio today. We are having lunch with my in laws at cap city diner in Columbus. Snowstorm wasn't that bad.

I'm having a Land Grant Oh Sure IPA. Aromas and flavors of red grapefruit, orange, lemon, peach, pineapple, passionfruit, mango, melon, red berries, citrus rind, peppercorn, pine, cracker, bread, herbal, floral, grass. Large sized pine, citrus rind, herbal, spicy bitter finish. Medium carb and body. Balanced bready grainy malt and sticky resinous hop mouthfeel. Lingering resin drying with minimal hop astringency. Great Eureka, Comet, Simcoe, and Cashmere hops profile. Very vibrant and dank hops with a clean malt backbone. A proper west coast at 6.4%. 4.1/5

I think it's supposed to be a tough winter this year with a lot of snow. I have the snow blower staged and ready to go. I just hope it's not one of those storms with a mix of snow and rain, just snow would be fine. The Bully will get a workout I think - I'm seeing several days of nuisance snow in the long term forecast. Cheers!!!

 

I may never tire of this lager, it is integral. RedZone action, and more cans are in my present and near future. Cheers, BA

 

All shoveled out, time for a stout. Midnight Tryst, a BA Imperial Stout from 3 Sheeps, with Cocoa and Vanilla. A tad in the sweet side, but tasty just the same. Cheers, all .
