Tons of cracker and doughy malt goodness. Crisp. A wonderful Helles, even if they dont call it that. Hope we get continue to get fresh dumps of this, best by of 5/25/26 so 6 month BBD on this guy.

OK, was kind of sort of in the mood for a burger...so there is a dive bar that I liked (noticed the past tense)...I wound up there this afternoon. In the past, for a dive they always had a small be well thought out selection. Now the best thing they have is a $9 Saint Arnold Grand Prize...you all know I love me some Saint Arnold but this is just a stand in for a very light lager. While its not bad at all, but they use to have SA Amber or Real Ale Brown for like $4. And the price now...yeah, that ain't a dive bar price.

So I had one Grand Prize, skipped the burger, and went on my way...probably the last time I'm here unfortunately. For a while use to be one of the best dive bars and best burgers around. At least I finished my Annie Proulx book

 

This beer is among Rhode Islands best IMO

Last call here ba. Brighter than starlight, dipa, th. Nice stuff but probably a bit overrated,

 

Snagged a 12 pack of pint cans today. 2 are already gone. It's light yet full flavored!
