Well, the wind event is over until Friday, so they say. We had a much milder version of the forecast with steady 10mph and occasional gust to 25 and right around the predicted time for our 70mph gust we got one of 43. I'll take it!

Kind of weird that we have only had 5 in of snow so far and it is mid Dec. and 60s.

Have a good Hump Day. Over the last few days I had 2 books that were due off hold at the library so I did them both. So I read The Proud Tower: A Portrait of the World Before the War, 1890-1914 by Barbara W. Tuchman, and Revenge of the Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell. Both 4.25/5. Read over half of The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy by John J. Mearsheimer and it's 4.5/5 so far. Also last night Boat got poop stuck on his butt hair so we are going to have to give him a bath.

2017 Dark Horse Plead the 5th(I think, dating is washed out). Tasting very rich and fudgey a usual. Solid earthy hop balance for an RIS. A bit smokey too.

Retirement party today for our director. Had a Eddie Fitz Porter and a Zombie Dust. Now back home watching Louisiana - Delaware because well it's football at least.

Probably the only beer tonight is a Dragon's Milk Triple Mash. Bottled January 2024. Scary drinkable at 18%.




@miwestcoaster - forgot to respond to you yesterday on the Good Humans Brown. I haven't seen that one in a long while. Looking at my untappd - I haven't had it since 2014. I actually haven't had many Short's beers in a while.

Checked Total Wine stock and no Good Humans at Total Wine which means it's most likely not around over here.
