    A Trader Joe beer left behind after Saturday night's poker game. It's decent enough for an Oatmeal Stout. Wouldn't go looking for it and I definitely will not do a dry January.

    Sierra Nevada Celebration (6.8% canned 10/3/2025): An IPA from California with Cascade, Centennial, Chinook for flavors of soapy orange, pine resin, and a smooth caramel malt body.

    Savoring my last handful of these. Losing it's hop-forward notes and settling into some smoother malty notes now approaching three months. But still keeping that soapy orange and pine flavor.

    After 41 years, today was my last “full-time” day at the firm. I’ll continue to help with selected projects but only on my own terms and schedule. I’m drinking Pipes of Christmas, Scotch Ale, at Bull n Bear Brewery, not quite comprehending what this means. Cheers, all!
