Bubbly. From a mixed IPA pack.

 

I especially enjoyed a six-pack that was approximately 1 month in the can. It had a snappy, initial hop bitterness that then led to the very citrusy finish.

Awesome! We moved from Michigan to Ft. Myers in June 1972, my dad was the minister at the Thomas Edison Congregational Church, next to the Edison home on McGregor Blvd. I lived there until I moved to Orlando in 1980....cheers & enjoy!!!

 

Wow! I’ll tell ya, I’m REALLY liking these Pilsner/IPA blenders. The only problem is, today I’m officially out of Bitburger Pils and Sierra Nevada IPAs from the expansive and temperature controlled Beermeister32 Bierhoard!

Part of enjoying these are finding glassware big enough to hold them. While we don’t have an exact 50/50 blend, I dumped them both in anyway. So let’s do the math; 16.9 ounces of 4.8% ABV Pilsner blended with 19.2 ounces of 9.2% ABV Torpedo IPA equals a total of 36.1 ounces at an average of 7.14% ABV. Just the perfect size to fit into the Beermeister32 THIRTY EIGHT OUNCE Chugmaster Magnum 1000 bierglas!

Flavor on this one is EXCELLENT! Hop load on the IPA side includes Cascade, Centennial, Mosaic, and Magnum varieties and while not exactly the same as the target Triple Hop’d Bitburger/Sierra IPA, this hybrid is a great beer in its own right – we really need to see more of beers like this on the shelves, it’s where it’s at! …. CHUG!
