I was scanning through the menu too fast looking for new beers and missed the opportunity to buy a fishbowl of 3F Behemoth (10.5% x 24oz) for $12.5...
That will sit you down in your seat! The barrel aged Oktoberfest from 3F was really good. All oak, no spirits. Cheers

I’ve decided to start drinking a beer when I’m in a meeting that either I have no idea why I’m a required person or I’m dealing with way more confusion due to too many people being involved.
This is the latter. In olden days I could phone the person I needed to get some bit of information from a person and get on with my job. Now we have project managers, business analysts, data engineers (who know less than I did 10 years ago) and the actual people needed.
If this meeting goes on much longer I may need a second one.

My all time favorite beer, hands down. Thanks Dave!

Lots of chores and a quick trip to HD; thereafter we assembled a 10’ diameter umbrella with screen, and placed it over the hot tub. Can’t wait - Cheers y’all!

 

1) Half Acre Ridge Tree (4.5%): A Czech Dark Lager from Chicago with flavors of earthy dark grains, cocoa, bitter and roast.
versus
2) Arbeiter Nacht Rider (4.9%): A Schwarzbier from Minnesota with flavors of dark chocolate, grains, smooth cocoa. Clean. (Correctly matched the two blind)

Czech Dark Lager versus German Schwarzbier. Repeating this battle from last year. First is Half Acre. Dar, earthy, and lightly toasty. Excellent.
Next is Arbeiter. Slight more dark roasted and sweet chocolate notes as you'd expect for the style. These were more similar than I expected.
Winner: Arbeiter Nacht Rider

I like your music, but would have appreciated a bit of lyrics and a story line.
I thought it was just Death Metal, but to be sure i aske AI and seems it is more complicated:
