    DIPA from Radiant Beer: All The Things We’ve Done: Year 5

    The variety of hops is ludicrous, but somehow the brewers have not totally overdone the quantity. It's hugely fruity, sweet, and aromatic, but over the top and plenty bitter. Aromas of citrus and melon and flavor is more of the same with a sharp finish and bitterness in the back of the throat. Still, it's a big mouthful of flavor and alcohol if you're in the mood for it. No apparent date.

    Capped the De Garre and will finish that bottle tomorrow. Now drinking Aurum Orbitals from Bottle Logic. A 2022 bottle. Imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels and finished with cacao nibs and hazelnuts. 13% ABV. Fantastic. Cheers all.

    Another old friend. I used to go to the original Trillium in Canton at least once a month. Haven't been since they moved. Hello Nelson. [IMG]

    Night off with this Brooklyn Classic Amber NA, and the Oreo pup...
    1st time trying. I do like the classic Brooklyn lager, so hoping it somewhat resembles that original.

    Aroma of wort, spent grains, lemon, floral;
    Taste follows noise, with addition of some wet cardboard;
    Mouthfeel is thin, carbonation is spritzy.
    Not the best of the NAs I've tried, and
    I wouldn't buy again (thankfully just grabbed a single).
    Really tastes like unfermented wort with a lemon twist....

    Finished the Mortalis BA Ophion from yesterday, then moved on to this Left Hand Fade To Black. They’re ok. It’s not a lot of roasted flavor, but maybe just over the line for me. This is maybe a super-cold-outside kind of hearty beer, like where I’m chainsawing wood in a foot of snow with an open fire keeping me warm. Sitting on the couch like a potato perhaps isn’t the right setting.

    Now that's cool. Have you heard these guys from Canada Yet? He plays a custom made microtonal guitar and bass. The frets are set to so that each half step (you'll prob remember from your playing days) has additional frets. There's also some that are adjustable which is just mind blowing. He uses set frets. Def
    Has that middle eastern/sitar vibe.
