OEC's Saison.........Pretty good, a little lighter, sweet, some banana notes.

 

Have a good Saturday. I started reading Watergate: A New History by Garrett M. Graff yesterday, and still working on it til it's due tomorrow afternoon. Very detailed account and a lot of footnotes about random specific details breaks up the pace, but I am enjoying it. 4.25/5. 832 pages. My wife went to the anti-tyranny event in downtown GSO in the morning and was back by 2PM. Got a commemorative shirt and button from going last time. We went to walmart for Bread, Peanut Butter and kitten food, plus 2 12 packs of beer. I got Imperial Voodoo Ranger, and she got the Modelo chelada mixed pack.

Kittens are going to be 4 weeks old this week, still no teeth yet. Need to get a shallow litter box pan because there is poop in the corners of the floor under the bed, and they can't get in the adult boxes yet.


2/15/2026 New Belgium imperial Voodoo Ranger. Haven't had it in a long time. Great mix of juicy and dank/earthy hops with a clean and toasty malt backbone. Drying resin crispness.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with liking them, just not my cup of tea and that's where personal preferences come into play. But definitely, drink what you like and what you enjoy! Cheers my friend!

Rattlesnake Rye IPA and the Hole In One Burger at The Library. The food is good, the beer is old school serviceable. Figured I'd give them a try since I've never been here. Cheers!

Good luck on your dissertation - sound like you're shooting for your PHD - I hope it goes well!!

I had a ticket for a student who's hard drive crashed and it had his only copy of his dissertation. Luckily I was able to recover it for him but I told him - I'd have a copy of that saved in multiple places to avoid that scenario in the future. He was freaking out at the time

Seasonal Pizza Port IPA here ,CO 03/03. Citra. & motueka hops @ 7%. More fruity than bitter.
