    1) Hop Butcher Urbs in Horto (7.5% canned 3/23/26): A NEIPA from Chicago with Strata and Mosaic for flavors of orange, grapefruit, mango, tropical berries.
    versus
    2) Other Half Stay More Elevated (8.0% canned 2/28/26): A NEIPA from NY with Citra, and Strata for flavors of OJ, grapefruit, mango, tropical berries. (Correctly matched the two blind)

Hop Butcher versus Other Half Battle with Strata. First is Hop Butcher Urbs in Horto. Fantastic balance of orange, grapefruit, mango, tropical berries. Amazing complexity and tropical smoothness here.
Next is Other Half Stay More Elevated. OJ upfront. The Strata stands out here with grapefruit pith and then tropical mango.Fantastic but shows the alcohol a bit more and not as smooth as Urbs in Horto. Hop Butcher keeps putting this one out for a reason.
Winner: Hop Butcher Urbs in Horto

I found myself on the north side of Houston for a change...and visited a new to me brewery. They have been open about 5 years now...

Senate Avenue Brewing...their Pale Ale. Kind of woody and astringent.

The Hefe is next...Banana esters, plastic phenols, and diacetyl, blah.

Then, their IPA, and a big brat for a late lunch. Its OK, fruity hops, but again woody and astringent.

Everything was just kind of average to OK at best. Its serves the neighborhood purpose for a brewery, cause not much else is around here, but not one of the better ones in town.

That looks great. Any aging on it? Does it need it? I recently had Chimay Blue 2022 and it was dynamite.

Been a rainy nasty day all day...need some Lone Pine Void Crush, Black IPA and some jazz for this evening ha.

Dave Liebman, Richard Beirach, George Mraz, and Al Foster can help...their album Quest.

One nice thing about NA beers is the ability drink beer during the workday with no consequences. Best Day Electro-Lime, a super refreshing take on a Mexican lager.

Thanks for the question @scott451 . I pour both, mix them up to blind them. Test the aroma and flavor blind and make my notes. Then unveil which is which. Aroma usually 1 then 2. Flavor usually 2 then 1 to keep it fair.
