My supply of another landmark Seattle Beer, Red Hook ESB is a’dwindlin! Everything I read is the Seattle and Ballard locations are closing and moving brewing operations to Portland. Wow, Red Hook too. This is happening to so many brewers this year. Today’s canning date is November 11, 2025, so it’s still out there folks, grab some when you find it.

Red Hook Extra Special Bitter is a British-style bitter Pub Ale - which really isn’t that bitter after years of burning out our tastebuds with triple IPA’s! ESB is a 5.8% ABV brew. Hopefully you can score some, British-style bitters are hard to find in the US. Cheers!
