Nashville is pretty nice for brewery representation, plus as you mentioned the live music is nice. Charlotte (CLT) and Portland (PDX) both have a good amount of breweries represented as well.
I had to think a little bit before not posting a response to that. Unfortunately, I have similar stories, that are probably more suited to "Off Topic - Dark" kind of applications, rather than a Top 5 Beer Goals thread on a beer website, even though beer was certainly involved.
It's a great story to tell in person, the details make it outstanding. But yes, too much for this thread. Fun fact about visiting the brewery that day. I thought they did half pours of each beer they had on tap that day. But they didn't really speak English so I got full pours for my "flight". I left very happy.
Unfortunately I was sober... The one where I pee my pants in my car is arguably better. Had fun telling that to a crowd of about 30 people one time. Sadly I was sober for this too...I did have a wonderful Notch Pitch Lined Pils before that though.
Goals 1-5: Go back to Oktoberfest in Munich. I got to cross it off my bucket list in 2024. Incredible experience. Every beer lover needs to attend one time.
I just want to figure out how to block my girlfriend from seeing me on here. BAs: Don't disclose your username unless you are sure...like really sure....
You will have a great time with Belgium, Prague, and Germany. And then be massively disappointed in China. Many great things to see and do in China. But beer isn’t one of them.
I scratched that the hell off my bucket list the second I heard that Adidas was coming out with vomit-proof Oktoberfest shoes. I'd put that below a frat-boy beer pong tournament on my scale of depravity. But, hey, whatever bodily fluid floats your sneakers.
Lol this can't be real. I don't mean the shoes, I mean you not going because someone released gore-tex shoes.
For Vermont…that’s worthy of 4-5 days minimum. Add Lost Nation to your list, they make amazing beers and have great food as well. Always one of my favorite brewery visits while in Vermont.
My beer bucket list is shrinking but overall I want to visit Oregon and Washington states and hit their top breweries. Belgium, Germany and Czech Republic. New Glarus
I'm not willingly going anywhere where there's even a chance that I'll be wading through vomit. That's as real as it needs to be.
