I attend several LA Kings and Dodgers games every year - which means I also drink my fair share of beer at those events. And unfortunately for me, my choice of decent beer is pretty slim.

At Dodger Stadium the best option I've seen is Sam Adams, while at Staples Center, it is also Sam Adams, but there also is one itty bitty beer stand that serves Sierra Nevada (along with Modelo on draft - of all things).

So, my fellow BAer's, what do you usually get at your local sporting events?

Hey, that's a much better selection than they have at Sun Life Stadium in Miami. All you can get there is Bud, Bud Light, Coors, Miller Lite, Heineken, Corona, Presidente and I think Modelo. $8 for Domestic, $9 for import regular size, $11 for tall boy import such as Heineken. It's pretty pathetic. The new Marlins stadium is the same, which is really pathetic. They built a brand-new, $600M+ baseball park and don't have any craft beer for sale. They put in all kinds of new gourmet food vendors, a huge selection of different ethnic foods, etc but you can't get a decent beer. I'm hoping this is going to change in the near future. Oh, and where the Miami Heat play and Florida Panthers play, it's the same depressing situation.

There is an abundance of Victory beer at Citi Bank Park in Philly where the Phillies play. And there's also a newly erected 'Xfinity Live' building in the sports complex (the Lincoln, where the Eagles play, CBP and the Wachovia Spectrum, home to the Flyers and 76ers, are all in the same complex), and there's tons of crafts available there. I'm lucky to live in such a craft beer-centric city.

Ever since BMC bought Goose Island they've been selling that at the United Center in Chicago by me (312, Honker's, Green Line). Not a huge craft offering... but they're decent sized draft pours and for $9, I'll take any of those over an $8 Bud Light any day.

Citizens babk park has good beer choices, bottles and draft. Off the top of my head last year, sure I will miss a bunch

    Victory Prima pils
    Hop Devil
    Yards brawler and pale ale
    Sly fox
Philadelphia brewing Kenzinger and Walt Wit
    Prism Shady lady
    SN Pale ale
    Yuengling Lager
    Hoegarten
    Stella
    Shock top

A few other locals and not so locals.

I drank a ton of the Prism Shady Lady last year. Seems to be the pours are about 13/14 oz. Used to be a 16 and a 20 about 5 years ago. Prices go up .25/.50 cents a year as well. Should be around $8 this year. I started to drink a few on the way in last year.

    Cans/botles

    60 minute
typical BMC....not sure if I have ever seen coors though
    Anchor Steam
Lots of other bottles I cant remember.

    Opening day is coming soon.

    Go PHILS

    Enjoy

In NYC we have one stand at Yankee Stadium (right field) that has a few decent option like Goose Island, Harpoon, and others. Citi Field has a similar deal in the outfield. Having been to many of the baseball parks Philadelphia has an incredible amount as a few have posted. Other cool locations include the Washington Nationals (DFH and Heavy Seas), Miller Park (New Glarus and Bells), and Comerica (Bells & Atwater).

I went to a concert at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indy (Pacers play there) a couple of months ago and they had a small stand set up for Sun King which offered Osiris Pale Ale, Sunlight Cream Ale and Wee Mac Scottish Brown. I think they were about $9 for a 16oz can. Much better than $8 for 16oz of Bud Light.

Oriole's Park has the old staple - Natty Boh. But craft beer wise, they have a Flying Dog stand, which this summer had a cask series. Something like Friday night games had a different Flying Dog beer on cask. They also opened a brew pub at the park - Dempsey's Brew Pub. Haven't tried their stuff yet.

Was at Citizen's Bank Park this summer, and swore I saw Back In Black at the centerfield beer stand. Plus the aforementioned beers. Very nice selection.

Pretty sure Giants stadium has a few at least one sixpoint offering. I've also gotten sixpoint at citi field. The best I've seen is Goose Island's IPA at Yankee stadium. And iirc the prudential center doesnt have anything much better than like hooegarden.

Ours are alcohol free unfortunately. You have to get drunk before and after the game.

Kansas City Royals has a couple of offerings from Boulevard.

Iowa Cubs in Des Moines I get BlackSmiths. Not craft but better than some options.

I general I've found minor league ballparks a better for than the majors. I know Jacksonville Suns? had several non-BMC options as well.
