I was in there last week and I asked about the current releases still being unavailable. The guy simply said they were having delays with bottling, but an email would go out soon. Yikes. I know Bottle Logic (down the street) had to change their bottle format recently (in the past year). I don't think we will ever know what is actually causing the delay - whether the staff is at a low, bottles are not available, or some issues with the taste of the beers in the tanks.
It's also kind of funny because when they released it after the BA version as a non BA version folks got upset that they kept the exact same name. So then they put out a non BA version the next year called Still Churrious to differentiate it from the BA Churriosity. So the fact that they did did a non BA Churriosity again cracks me up.
This must be half of the breakfast box coming later this year? https://mybeerbuzz.com/the-bruery-u...rawberry-strudel-barrel-aged-imperial-stouts/
Interesting.. it was supposed to be: Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Blueberry Pancakes, Brown Sugar Espresso and Apple Fritter concepts. Seems close enough that an audible could have been called to change things slightly; but also maybe different enough that these are separate?? Edit: It is indeed the box. I found one other on https://ttbonline.gov/colasonline/publicSearchColasBasic.do Looks like it is now Cinnamon Swirl, Strawberry Strudel, but still Brown Sugar Espresso. Jury is out on the 4th? Hopefully still Apple Fritter (sounded good to me!)
Maybe they felt like they needed a change since Blueberry Pancakes has already been done. I agree, I hope we still get an apple fritter treatment.
GTFO how is a 12% BA Quad the same price as Black Tuesday? Notwithstanding the fact that production costs are going up (which is real, and I respect that) I have a theory... that when their Marketing team claims at the start of the year, "Membership includes $900+ of beer for $695" they then have to inflate the retail price of the included beers to back into that figure. I honestly don't mind that. I enjoy getting a range of included beers and a chance to try a bit of everything. The problem is there's no point in buying more at those prices. I wonder if they've scaled production on the included member beers so that they have just enough for membership and don't actually care if they sell more? Maybe the business model now is largely about selling the non-included beers?
