...same here...it was fun back in the day to create ur own mix tape, make a cheesy cover and share it with friends...have plenty of personal home-made tapes as well as plenty from my friends...yeah, when a tape deck eats the tape, you're screwed, but a surprising amount of tapes from the 70s and 80s still play fine...good memories, good tunes...
...one of my favorite Ex Novo beers...wish we still had distro up here...now even finding La Cumbre is somewhat hard...still have a few Bow & Arrow beers around, but I'm seeing fewer NM beers, which is a shame...they have an underappreciated beer scene as far as quality goes...
Wondered about that. Latest batch of Fank didn't get to Weber St and I wonder they're limiting distro on purpose or what. But yeah, this Pils slaps. As the kids might say. Cheers, b'goot!
This one stood out on the shelf, so I grabbed one to sample. It's pretty good, definitely oj jam and some farmhouse funk. It's an enjoyable brew. Cheers!
King Fern DIPA from Tree House now. I really like this hop combo of Citra, Motueka, Peacharine, and Paradisi hops. Notes of mango, pineapple, passionfruit, lime, white grapefruit, orange citrus, peaches, nectarine, vanilla cream, pale caramelized bready malts, and dank resinous floral earthy herbal pine. Real nice beer. Cheers!

Toppling Goliath Supa Sue-Mo DIPA (Citra/Mosaic). This one is still drinking mighty fine at about 10 weeks in, with the Citra dominating. Juicy clementine, orange Smarties, ripe tangelo flesh and peel, orange peel, ripe mango, some lychee, some herbaceous dankness, earthiness, resinous pine. Soft and delicate feel. So good.
