    Do you do a lot of Japanese cooking? The majority of what I cook at home is rooted in Japanese cuisine.

    My big one I want right now is BC cherry rye, but i doubt I can make that happen. But also love FFF and founders. Maybe some KBS or BA stuff

    Trying this here widmer chocolate imperial stout on this, my thirty-second birthday!
    It's not bad. Not great either. The flavors fight a little, I think they might get along better when they grow up.

    Me too. I speak a fair amount of Japanese and have studied the Japanese Way of Tea (the "tea ceremony") for several years now. I'm well-versed in Japanese cooking (and eating) as well.

    Trying out my new glass!

    I walked into Goodwill yesterday with the intention of buying some glassware, and there it was, the only beer glass on the shelf, and at the low, low price of $1. Huzzah!

    Yeah, it says "Brewtus" and "Applebee's" (godawful restaurant), but, hey, whaddya gonna do?

    Of course I had to go and get appropriate beers to try it out and, you know, see if it works and stuff.
