Just got back after almost a month away. Trying to catch up a little on this thread so forgive me for messing with the new meme but a real question: did I totally miss the boat on regular IST? New Haven area availability a plus.

It's definitely lingering around some places in Fairfield County. Don't know about New Haven for you.

Can't seem to find it and the people here aren't much help. Is this on the left side of the store or the right?

They had a couple bottles on the shelve last time I was there. Right near the front, around the corner from the little Goose Island stand. It was top shelf, above some otter creek RIS 4-packs.

Rumour is they have some Cherry Rye BCBS as well... prob. would be in the same spot.

No more IST. Got some Gandhi Bot so not a total failure of a trip. No Cherry Rye yet.

I posted this a while back. I think they still had bottles on the shelf earlier this week if you're still in the area looking for some. If you call, they'll let you know.

    EDIT - Guess it's gone!

Did u look on the little shelf in front left hand corner of the store? There was quite a few bottles a day ago.

I spent a good 30 minutes looking all over the store. The beer aisle, the refrigerator, and the display areas up front. I asked two people. The first person hadn't heard of it, but looked around all areas including the stock room. The second person confirmed that they were out of stock. The second person seemed to be a manager/supervisor. She knew immediately what I was talking about. She was also able to answer some of my other very specific questions, so I trust she knew about the IST being out of stock

Man,IST is sellin like hotcakes this year.Seems worse than previous years.
I figured there would be more hanging around being that they put it in 16.9oz. bottles this time.

    Go NEBCo. !

    Cheers All........

Any idea what is the farthest north you can find IST? I live in MA (no more Nebco!) I can get some stuff in RI, but i heard no trooper in RI this year. I live fairly close to Thompson CT.

For me it's more of a "no brainer" when I see it this year - prob. thanks to the smaller bottles. Most stores have kept it in the $6.99-$7.50 range, while last year the 750ml's I'd see around for $18-$24. That was tough to pay when I could get 3-4 Stone IRS bombers for the price of 1 IST.

That probably came off harsh, which was not the intention. I was just trying to explain in detail that I did cover my bases when I went there. You have nothing to apologize for. I could have easily called the place and asked over the phone, but this is something I generally choose not to do with places I'm not familiar with because there's a high chance I'll get someone on the other end that doesn't know what I'm/they're talking about.
Also, I don't generally shop in that area often, so this was a chance for me to check out a new store. I'll probably be able to get my hands on some Bourbon County Cherry Rye because of this trip as well, so I should thank you for that.
Anyways, sorry if that previous post came out as me being pissed. I'm not.

Haha its cool. I just felt bad. It's unfortunate they didn't have it because the day before there was literally a case on the shelf but the shelf wasn't even near the craft aisle. These things happen tho as u probably know, with very limited offerings. Cheers and thanks 4 being understanding.
