Many thanks for responding to the thread and my original post. As you can see, you have a lot of fans. When I trade (which is often) I shoot bottles of this all over the place. I agree with George (geocool) Best IPA out of MA.

I enjoy it a lot. However, the only shop near me that carries it charges $8.99 a bottle. That just can't be the average price. What is the average price range per bomber? As much as I like it, I just can't justify paying nine bucks for it...

Pretty much the same price point Ive seen it at, I love this on tap but have never bought a bottle due to the price.

I'd rather get 42 more ounces of Hoponius for 2-3 more bucks.

I'm with you. You can't go wrong with that stuff. I paid $2.89 last week for a single .500 ml. How do they even earn a profit with prices like that?

Still, if prices of Be Hoppy were a little more reasonable, I'd pick it up once in awhile.

.I've been having trouble finding fresh Hoponius. The hops fade fast.

The price went down to stores since it first came out. They may not be aware of their lower cost. I get it for $6.99 when my store has it.

This thread reminded me of how much I like Be Hoppy so I headed over to my go to spot for selection, price, and freshness - Redstone Liquors - to pick some up. They had plenty on the shelf but all October dates. I love you wormtown but I can't spend the premium price when super fresh hoponious and Larry are sitting right next to you

Had one there Friday night, followed by a Sucks. Really enjoyed the Be Hoppy. Glad I revisited it.

I usually pass it up in bottles when I come across it (which is rare), as much because of the age of the bottles as the price. But I almost always get it when I see it on-tap (it's almost always on-tap at the Flatbread in Davis Square). It's easily one of (if not) the best IPAs brewed in Mass, and among the best brewed in New England in my book.
