I bought a 4pk last year after finding it at a Whole Foods and saying "hmmm...this looks decent".
Drank all 4 within a few days.
Had no idea ahead of time how good it was & totally regret not buying a few more 4pks.
Will not make the same mistake this year.

Sweet. Been waiting for this one... I'm assuming they're releasing the barrel aged version @ the same time?

Nope, would be nice, but the '12 barrel aged was already released and you had to be there for the release, never makes it outside the brewery. This '13 version will have to sit until it comes out this coming December.

I finally had a bottle of this, I found a 2010 bottle back in Dec at a store and it was unbelievable.
I also agree with DCT, I have a 3 year vertical in my cellar. Just cracked a 2011 a couple months back and it was amazing.

Well, fuck me... that kinda sucks. I went on my first whale hunt and I'm already exhausted... Too many whales man. TOO MANY! Who's got time for this shit?

Maybe the beer I am most excited for at EBF, Barrel Aged Plead the 5th. I have one lonely bottle in my basement of regular Plead from last year, should have bought more than 1 four back.

This is perhaps my favorite "easily available" big stout. It sits on the shelves for a couple of months, so I don't have to rush right out & buy a case of it. Love this beer.

See you at the Fillmore my friend, it's UM rage time. Flying all the way from Portland for this one.

Nice. We are doing a brewery tour from GR to Detroit. Bell's, Dark Horse, and Arcadia. Then it's face melting.

I was able to score a four pack of this for 20 bucks last year. I felt I over paid a bit so I am going to ask around for a case. I am sure a case will last me a while since it took me 3 months to kill off a case of Big Black Voodoo Daddy.

PS: anybody know of a place in Pittsburgh that might get this? Whats the average price of a case?
